    You might also try BSPlayer, it has integrated AC3 support.

    If you install a software DVD player (WinDVD, power DVD) I believe that will install an AC3 codec. Of course, you may be a VCD only person . . . .

  8. Now I have found the ac3 codec and install it (why do I loose it everytime I install xvid codec?) so far so good. But I have a movie K 19 and the audio format is still unknown by Virtuel dub and G-spot tell`s me that I need a update for my audio codec???? Where can I find this update?

    Load it into Vdub select File > File Information

    What does it say you have for Video and audio ?

    Vdub will say unknown on an AC3 audio, so don't worry about that..
