    Hello.
    I have done a board search, but no answers. How do I determine what firmware ver I have with WinXP? I checked the drive under Properties as well as Admin Disk Mgmt.

    Well, use InfoTool bundled with Nero or you can dowload it from this website

    Or run the SONY firmware upgrade utility. It will tell you your current version, before it actually upgrades.
