  1. Hello,
Im trying to create my first SVCD mpg, using TMPGEnc12a. Im using an ucompressed AVI source, 480x480 interlaced. Everything seems to go fine except that my final MPG has no audio. If i demux it, i get a valid audio stream, but if i remux, i get no audio again. Any ideas?

    Thanks

  2. That's just odd. So you're saying if you deMux you get an audio stream that played with Media player et.al. actually has sound?!? Not a 'blank file' as it were.

I would try muxing the files with bbMPEG encode to see if that makes a difference.

  3. And if Vejita's solution doesn't work, you might try extracting the wav from the avi with VirtualDub, re-encode JUST THE AUDIO with TMPGENC and then try multiplexing that with your original video file.
Also, are you sure that your wav file is completely silent and not at a very low volume? I've had to normalize a couple of wavs with SoundForge because for some reason the sound peaks were too low.
