  1. ok so i got the qucktime encode thing for tmpeg and it encodes the videos no problem, but when i play them back there's no audio.

    My virtual dub doesnt open quicktime files so i can't take the audio out of the file or whatever and add it in as a seperate file..if u know what i mean

    so my tmpeg video and audio sorce for the quicktime is the one file....

    anyone know how i solve this and get the audio in?.

    i've got (system) audio + video clicked....so i dunno whats up

    and i am a newbie to all this so no doubt it's something really easy * i hope*

    Is your Quicktime MOV file created by a Digital Camera ?
    I had this problem in this scenario (Kodak DC).

    Got around it by playing MOV in Quicktime and recorded audio using Total Recorder, then used the audio file in TMPGEnc.

    Worked for me, but I'm sure there would be a better way. Probably just need to play around a bit more, but I chose the quick & dirty option

  3. no it's ana ctual music video off a cd...but any other quicktime videos i've dl wont do it with audio either..
