What is the Header Trick exactly can someone please try and explain what its supposed to do?.

Esentially, the trick fools your standalone DVD player into thinking that an SVCD is a VCD and is therefore playable. In my experience, I have found that either the player will play SVCD's or it won't, regardless of header. I have not had much luck finding machines that are fooled by this, but maybe you will have some luck. 8)
