Ah sleep deprivation. My favorite tool for getting answers. It's a little slow at first, but in four to seven days a good interrogator will have all the answers that he wants. A week or longer of intense deprivation can kill the subject or leave him completly useless. Definatly do not allow any means of suicide to become availible to the subject, as this will be seized upon as soon as it is discovered by the subject. Anyone can be cracked by sleep deprivation alone, I do mean anyone (unless they die on you first)

The physics of sleep are not completley understood. Some people don't "need" as much as others but for some reason with out it you will die. This concept has been in use for a long time to gather information or impose will. It is not pretty. And it is as painful as any other torture. ( Er...or so I have heard)

Yeah, I have a bit of a theory why we need sleep.

basically, it's an evolutionary thing, in that when the old trouble and strife starts going on and on about absolute bollocks, men's brains have developed a shut down mechanism.

When the women see the men fast asleep, since they have no one to wind up, they to developed this sleep habit.

Single men don't have this problem as they spend all night d/l internet porn

Sleep is wierd. I would rather not need the interruption of sleep. But if I don't volunarily do it, my body will do it anyways no matter the circumstances. I could be driving at speed and my body might just decide that it needs sleep instead of focusing on driving the vehicle. So I choose to go ahead and sleep when it is more convenient, like when I am at home and in bed.

Sleep is over rated. I usually go to sleep around 11:00pm and get up around 4:00am.
