Most of my files its pretty easy to extract audio with virtualdub and then encode to mpeg1 with tpmgenc but i still have quite a few that won.t
I get these messages in Virtualdub:
-couldn't locate de decompressor for format DX50 (unknown)
VirtualDub requires Video for Windows VFW compatible coded to decompress videos. Direct show codecs such as those used by windows media player are not suitable
Which codecs do i have to install to make this work????? ( have installed Nimo codec pack)
another file it start to rekey then gives a warning then when i try to save wav it says:
requested audio compression is not compatible with input format, check that the sampling rate and channel count of the input match those of the requested format
tried different sampling rates 44, 48 and 22 but don't work either
Is there another program with which i can extract the audio?????
In TMPGEnc it says some files are unsupported while they are perfect divx files...how do i convert these to Mpeg1??????

Sounds like you need the latest divx5.0.2 codec, you can get this from www.divx.com.
As for the audio problem sounds like you have a file with AC3 audio, follow this guide.
