On most TV Series dvds there is a play all (which obviously plays all the episodes in order) and pick episode and returns to the episode menu. Is there anyway to do this on maestro?
Cheers
Bob

im in a likewise situation Bob,
i want dvdmaestro to play 4 video segments one-after-other but cant get to grips with the connections ..
have searched around but most help files are for multi chapter, menu driven discs.. -
I don't know about maestro, never used it. In the software I use (DVD workshop) you can select what you want to happen after the mpeg clip has finished playing. You do this by right clicking on the mpeg clip, two of the options are return to menu and play next video clip. Just thought I would let you know as it may be a similar procedure in maesto, then again it might not.

Craig,
this is true - in Ulead DVDWS its very easy to play clips continuous with the method u descibed - its just trying to find the likewise command in dvdmaestro is proving rather difficult..
the other option that im trying now is to merge all files together and just drag the file into the "first play"
there is plenty of dvdmaestro gurus on this board - so hopefully we can get an answer to this soon...

As Playlists are defined, they appear in the Connections window as sources and targets. In effect, each Playlist becomes a new DVD movie with its own chapter points; in turn, each chapter in each Playlist has its own Menu Key Action and End Action.

BJ_M solved it - tried it - and it works great -
Or perhaps if you are lazy like me and don't care much for menus, you can have maestro automatically play the first movie then the second and so on by using part of this relatively simple guide. Read the section after the main guide where he talks about "maestro quick trip" and the First play option. I'm not sure about having the dvd return to the menu after all the playing is done, but I'm sure its not to hard to figure out after reading this... http://www.vcdhelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=109346
