Is there a better or newer DivX codec out there? The one that I have is the 3.1 alpha. I watch quite a few DivX movies and I was hoping there was a newer version or a better codec than the 3.1 alpha, if so where do I get this codec? Thanks.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Leibchun,
There is a newer version 4.0 alpha 50 that can be found at http://www.divx.com. It is not backwards compatible, so don't uninstall 3.1. Hope that helps.

Thanks Daywalker. I have already gotten rid of 3.1 alpha, does this mean I have to get it back first?

I use the Kristal 4.3.3 codec without any problems. It doesn't require the old 3.1.1 either.
