  1. Whats the way to do this? I've backed up some of my DVD's, so I'm familiar with how to do this, but I can't seem to find any guide on taking a downloaded file, and turning it into .vob files that I can use to author a dvd-r with.

I've tried using VirtualDub, but that seems to want to encode the files into a Div-X type format. From my experience with DVD's, I want to extract them into .AC3 and .M2V so I can feed them into Maestro to author.

    Thanks!

  2. You might want to avoid out for Maestro, it's a mother to learn. But check out the guides here, esp
    ripping
    encoding
    authoring
    burning
    and that sort of thing

  3. As these are downloaded mpegs I am assuming they are VCD compatible mpeg1. You can create a DVD-VCD, follow this guide.
