I am using a long tutorial that has you go through the following basic steps
1. Rip the DVD
2. DVD2AVI to create the .wav and .d2v
3. Convert the .d2v to .avi using VFAPI Codec 1.04
4. Convert .wav to mp2 using toolame
5. Virtual Dub
6. TMPGEnc
7. bbmpeg
Problem is, I am getting a error that I have never seen before. When I go into the VFAPI Codec 1.04 I am getting the error "???? E:\DVD\moviename.d2v ????"
Any ideas?
Thanks

Did you update to a newer dvd2avi version and do you try to convert a project, that is made with an older dvd2avi version?
-
Nope, same versions that I have always used.
I just am trying to do it on my Win2K machine but as far as I know, these programs should work fine on Win2K

Do yu still have your vobfiles in the same spot they were in when you made the d2v file?

I had this problem before. Just re-create the D2V file again.
