  1. i have some personal footage that unfortunately was put into .ram (.rm) format that i am trying to convert to avi or mpg. i have real player 8 and am using EO Video, ...the footage plays perfectly in the EO player from beginning to end... i've followed the steps in your guide (on the page rmto3.htm) to double check to make sure i wasn't doing anything wrong... but all i get when after it initializes the converter is "Error reading real media file (Err=30810-0). Converting terminated"

why is this happening to all my .rm (.ram) files?
apologies ahead of time if this is stupid, but could someone please help?
    thank you!

    Hey . . .

Which version of Real were the files produced with? I have a lot of South Park episodes recorded in RM format - I've used EO Video to convert them, and had all sorts of trouble until I removed every piece of Real software, and installed just the Real Media 8 Basic player.

This gave EO Video the files that it needed to properly convert my RM files, and I'm now burning 3 SouthPark episodes to every VCD.
