Hi,
I'm experimenting with different capture devices in a bid to get the best possible capture for burning to SVCD for playback on my standalone DVD player.
With my Pinnacle DC10+ I'm able to nominate the sound source. Rather than use the audio that comes in with the video signal cable, I take the sound out channel directly into the sound card using a jacked cable. The playback is in sync and clear of the static I would hear from just the joint video and audio stream.
However, in trying AVI_IO, VirtualDub, VirtualVCR and AMCAP, I can't find the same audio selection dialogue and, consquently, get the poor quality sound from the joint audio/video signal which goes through the one cable into the ATI64ddr Radeon 7200 I'm using. (I've uninstalled the DC10+ for the tests so there are no driver conflicts.)
Can anyone help me find an option to choose the audio input source on these programmes? Surely it must exist.![]()
I'm capping from an old analogue Sharp Viewcam, using a P111 866 with 60gb hard disk, running Win98se and Via chipped Tyan mobo.
I've read the VCDhelp.com boards and 'how tos' extensively without finding info that can help.
Any suggestions would be warmly received.
(One further question, what is 'warez'? Sounds like Spanish.)
Thanks.
