  1. I would like to know how do you get DVD2SVCD to make only one file I want to edit it my self with TMPG. I do not like how DVD2SVCD will split the movie when people are talking

  2. DVD2SVCD spilts the file based on the file size. It spilts based on the CD size you enter in the bitrate tab. It sounds like you want to spilt it yourself to pick a 'better' cut point. The easiest way to do this is:

    1) Go to the misc tab
    2) Click "do not delete any files"

When DVD2SVCD is done, if you don't like the cut point you still have the orignal M2V and MPA files to play with/edit as your like. In fact there's a good change that if you look in your output folder they are there now.

Also note that under the bbMPEG tab there's an option to set disc overlay (IIRC the default is enabled and 2secs). So you can up that to a 10sec overlap (that is the last 10secs of DISC1 will be repeated on DISC2)

  3. Thank's for the reply. I installed a older version of DVD2SVCD and in the bitrate I put a bunch of number some thing like 184561 and when I did encode I did get one file but I install a new version and it making a hundred file's I think I might have mesh it up some how and it worked the way I want it before. I did try what you said keep the first file's and mixing them but got a error with TMPG
