does CameMPGJoin touch files it joins ?

Hallo, I wonder how CamelMPEGJoin
joins *.mpg files, ie.
whether before joining it uncompreses files
and after join compreses it again or not.
I think not, because joining happens too fast

what do You think about it ?

no, it wouldnt uncompress them first

so You mean that it just joins it by creating a new mpeg file header
for rawly joined *.mpg files
Is it right ?
