Hello. I've followed Steffy's guide to do a DVD to VCD conversion. The problem is that I want to add to the VCD pemanent subtitles (as I've done previously when I converted DivX to Vcd). I've tried to do the intergral conversion (using the DVD2AVI's dv2 file on TMPGenc Plus) and then I've opened the mpeg file with virtualdub and add the subtitle (with the video plugin subtitle). Then I've done a frameserver and re-convert it again with TMPEnc. Well, the first problem is that the file frameserved with vitualdub is bigger (much bigger) wich is a little bit odd (because they are all mpeg files with the same quality). The second one is that the subtitles aren't coordenated with the video. Is this because of the MPEG conversion that virtualdub does when opens the first created MPEG file (from the dv2 file)? Is there other way to do this conversion (I've tried to open the dv2 file directly with virtualdub but it doesn't work.
Please help me...
