why do some of my svcds not play on my standalone player

HI i wonder if you can help me. WHen i burn svcd mpegs via bin/cue files or mpeg files some play perfectly well on my standalone dvd player
on some the sound jumps (but this is rectified by slightly rewinding the disc
and others the dvd kicks in pcb shows on the screen then play but then stop shows up on the screen (these do play on my pc via powerdvd)
so why is this im in the uk (pal)
The discs that dont play at all but on the pc are the most frustrating
so why do these discs burn correctly but then dont on my dvd player

Are you using the new version of nero ? i had the exact same thing where the PBC would show and play but nothing happened

I went back to the older version and all was ok

Use VCDwizard instead, you can generate a cd-image for the application you prefer : cdrdao or nero.
Generated Nero-images can then be burned in each Nero version starting from rel. 5 and up.
Nero just burns the images and won't change the contents of it.
