  1. On our computer we run Windows 2000. I want to create a few VCDs, and I've read practicly all the guides and tried several programs. But I can't convert an AVI file to Mpeg because I 'have to be an administrator on Windows 2000' according to several programs. It's pissing me off. Are there any programs that don't require you to be an admin to convert AVI to Mpeg?

    Thanks in advance,

Well, if it is your own personal computer, you should have the administrator password. Login as administrator or login using an account with administrator privileges. It may also work logging into an account with poweruser privileges.

That's the thing. It's not my comp, it's my dads. And he refuses to give me anything above a normal use account. It sucks, I know. It would work with poweruser, but he won't put me as one.
