I have a svcd of a movie, in svcd sound is perfect no sync problems at all.
the movie is broken down to 4 cd's. I was converting them to dvd using TMPGEnc. The 1st cd audio is out of sync i think about 8 sec before the video after converting to dvd, perfectly fine in svcd format. The other 3 cd's converted to dvd with no problems at all.
Any idea's on how to avoid this or you just the 1st part of a 4 part movie would be out of sync after converting to dvd?

If the original SVCD movie .mpg has glitches you need to remove them, or they will cause problems later. These problems would not be seen on playback.
Its much easier to fix problems with AVI than Mpeg 2
