    know off the file size? Ive ripped LOTR extended version disks 1 and 2 and am wondering if I can get rid of things without re encoding and get the file size down to 4.3 or so. thanks in advance.

    it depends really... I believe that LotR Extended version has like 7 different audio streams doesn't it? I actually did the experiment but I can't remember off hand home much the space savings amounts to. 400 meg? I can't remember. Do the experiment and tell us :P
