How to add subtitle using virtualdub.

Hi everyboby.
Please help me "How to add subtile to the movie using Virtualdub 1.4". I have virtualdub 1.4, subtitiler, but i don't know how to write and add it to the movie or video clip. Sorry for my bad english, thanks.

There is a program called Sub Station Alpha. You use this program to create your subtitles for Virtual Dub. You type in your text, say where you want them to start, how long you want them last. The program computes the end time. Repeat until you have all your subtitles written. Select where and how you want them to appear save them as .ssa files.

Go to Virtual Dub Subtitler (ot Text Sub if you want them to appear as running banners). And load your .ssa file. The rest should be easy.

- Does Vobsub can make a subtitile like substation alpha?
- How to convert a videoclip with Microsoft Mpeg-4 V1 to other format like Mpeg-2 or DivX 5.02?

Wish I could help you, but I know very little about VobSub. There are some guides here if you want to read up on them. I convert using Virtual Dub for AVI conversion (freeware), and to convert MPEG files, I use TMPGEnc (shareware), and Ulead Video Studio (commercial, but demo available).
