can anyone help i am trying to use quicktime pro to split and save an avi however every time i try to do something a popup says quicktime is running out of memory and cannot do the task. So the question is can i allocate more memory to quicktime and if so how?

What OS are you running, and if it's 9.x or earlier, do you have virtual memory turned on?
