I am currently trying to burn monsters, inc to dvd+RW. I used dvd decrypter to rip the entire movie in file mode. I want to keep the structure of the dvd menu so that I can use the chapter selection menu and audio selection menu.
I started by deleting the vob files not needed (4x3 aspect ratio, sneek peaks, etc.) I kept the ifo, bup, and vts_*_0 files of every vts as I heard these are sometimes needed for playback. I then stripped vts_05_1 of the fbi warning and copyright notice. Next I moved all the old files I needed from the original folder to the new folder with stripped vob. Then I opened each ifo file in ifoedit and pressed get vts sectors for each file.
when I go check the playback in powerDVD everything is exactly how I want it. However, when I attempt to burn using RecordNow I get an error and the file won't burn. It does not tell me what's wrong it just says "data job terminated with errors." I then tried to burn using nero udf 1.02 mode. It burns the disk, however it does not play in computer or standalone, which tells me something is wrong.
Any suggestions?
