What is the file type your converting ? has it been checked for bad frames ? Try using the source range (End at a few frames from the end)

    Also check this

    TMPGEnc
Options > Environmental setting > VFAPI plug-in > DirectShow multimedia file reader > right click, select higher priority (Do several times to get it at top) or just below any Mpeg 2 filter

  3. its a mov file. The priority to Directshow is at the top of the list.

  4. I also noticed that TmpGenc does not use much of my cpu. I have coolmon and it indicates that only 15% of the cpu is in use by Tmpgenc. The use of the cpu also fluctuates, which means that sometimes it will use 15% then 0% then back to 15%.
