Major Headache with CCE sp PLZ HELP

Im backing up Harts Wars, ive working through my tutorial when I get
to CCE. My ver is: sp (sgg) ver.2.66 .
Now I have to load , just say: movie.avi then I edit it and add
avg bitrate:Upper field first:Linear Quantizer:zigzag:Progressive frames.
Now I can add avg bitrate but even in the video tab there is no where for
me to put rest of the info. So I select ok and save file as movie.ecl and
then encode.Now straight away I get an error saying :couldn't find appropriate video codec for VIFP.
Now you Guys here are very clever and will probably know what this means,but me phew im lost.
I hope jimmy can help because its is tutorial!!

You said you added the information, and then you said there is no where to put the rest of the information. What do you define as "rest?"

Imeant I added the avg bitrate but I couldnt find in the video tab
where to add Upper field first,Linear Quantizer, Zigzag scanning order and progressive frame . This is the info I have got on the way to add
in CCE.
Does that make any difference.

I got it !!
Download vfapi convertor.

Included in its folder is a little batch file
called vipset "double click" run this, it will now install the actual vfapi codec files to your windows system.
Now the only problem I have Is putting in, Upper field first,Linear Quantizer, Zigzag scanning order and progressive frame
So ive left it out and encoded but it wont let me save it as a .ecl file
weird.

Right! ere i am again!
Saved it as a ecl.file now.Just did it in output file.{easy}
For the rest of the Upper field first,Linear Quantizer, Zigzag scanning order and progressive frame that I could not find where to enter ,it
must be an optional thing.
Any more problems i will let myself know!! 8)

I was searching the forums because I had the same error. Thanks for the answer. As for CCE 2.66, the trial version you download from the web doesn't have those options. I've stuck with 2.50 for now.
