  1. I would like to have a dvd player to play dvd video's recorded on dvd-ram, I know the panasonic dvd-rp82 does, does anyone know of any other players that would play dvd-ram or any hacks that would allow a dvd player to play dvd-ram?

    Me too, me too.

Sorry couldn't resist. I too am interested in other players that will handle RAM disks. Hopefully a lower price than the rp82, and it would be nice if it was in a store, so I could go play with it before buying it. I know Panasonic has a few players that will handle this, but they are all more expensive than the rp82, they even have a portable that will play them.

    http://www.panasonic.com/consumer_electronics/dvd_players/default.asp sorry about the pop-up
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?

there got to be at least 1 or 2 other dvd players other than the panasonic's that play dvd-ram.

  4. When all of you bought a dvd-ram recorder, you should've
known the LOW compatability rate, its like 1-2% isnt it?

Only low for now. As more recoders are sold, they will make more play only to follow.
