Hi, my dvd player the 5 disc pioneer c503 was an excellent player. I say was because now it wont play my S/VCDs it reads them as just a CD and they do nothing. Audio cd's play about half the tracks and the DVD video only plays video and no audio. I have mainly used the player for s/vcds and a few dvds. It hasnt gotten really heavy use. Any suggestions for fixing it? It also sometimes makings a weird grinding noise. I think it may be something with the laser

Well i decided to go with buying a Pioneer DV-C505 now =P Because I really liked the pioneer in playing svcds
