This may sound like a stupid question to you old timers but here it goes.
Is there a program that will take a VV3 captured avi file (2Hrs), convert it to SVCD, Split at right points, and start burning.
I thought Ulead DVDWS would do that, but it only converted the file, then told me of some sort of error (prolly too big to fit on CD or something). The converted file plays back fine.
I tried TMpgEnc but it does't like the VV3 codec, and won't let me work with the AVI.
I need something really simple and nearly automated for a simple friend of mine. I've done hundreds of DVD's but I don't know too much about SVCD.
I looked in the newbie guide, but didn't see reference to such simple software. Surely some exists...
Advice please.
