  1. How can I burn Video CD in DVD media that can be played in common DVD machine?

The reason is that I have hundreds of Video CDs and I want to consolidate them for better management and space saving. First, I convert the VCD's DAT files into MPEG-1 files. Each MPEG-1 file is about 450MB. I have used both Roxio Easy CD Creator 5.3 and Ahead Nero Burning Rom 5.x but they have to recognize CD media for a project of over 4GB VCD so they are failed.

Does anyone know the solutions please help me.

You cant burn as VCD on a DVD. If you want to it to work on DVD Players you must convert to DVD standard and it requires that you convert the audio to 48khz( you don't need to change the video).
