  1. Hello,
I just wanna ask : Is DivX the best choice for video formats?
I heared that DivX can have the same quality with DVD's with less megabyte. I wanna store lots of video files in my hardrive. If that is correct, do you know some websites that can help me convert files to DivX?

    Thanks!!!!!!

  2. DivX or XviD are mpeg4 codecs. They're great if you intend to play it with your computer. (It won't play in a DVD player) You can watch it on your monitor or on a TV if your video card has a TV out. Some people like DivX, some like (S)VCD's better. Every way has it's pros and cons. One piece of advice, if you're going to go the DivX way, you want to use Gordian Knit. It's more complicated than some other programs, but it's by far the best.
