  1. A group of friends and I have recently recorded stuff on a Basic Digital Camera that takes those diddy lil' tapes, we then transferred the film onto a computer for editing, via DV output on the camera. While editing the quality of the film became slightly blocky. We now want to get the film onto a CD so that it will play on a standard DVD player. Is this possible? - we,ve been told that it is, if so how do we do it?
The 'CDVD' film will play from a PC with a DVD player, but not standard DVD player. Also will the quality that was lost in editing be returned when played on a proper DVD player?

We cannot get the film onto VHS either as the camera does not have DV input so we can't recorded the edited version back onto diddy tape in order to record onto a large tape using a video recorder. Is there a way we can get it onto VHS?

    Any help much appreciated

Once you have the video into your computer, you can use a program called an encoder to make the video DVD compliant. Once the it is, you can use a DVD-R writer to burn it onto a DVD-R or DVD-RW to be played on a standard DVD player, provided it supports DVD-R(W)s. If your DVD player can also play CD-Rs and you have a CD-R writer, you can also make a SVCD or VCD, then play either of these on your DVD player to be recorded onto VHS.
    Hello.
