    I'm trying to convert an avi to vcd, but when i try to convert it in TMPGenc it comes out with no video or audio - the file information on the avi's says it is MS-MPEG4 V3 and i have this codec installed n it also plays ok in media player. Am i missing something? Any help appreciated ty.

    s'okay - my priorities in TMPGenc had somehow reset themselves!!!
