When trying to convert a file to mpeg from avi in tmpgenc all i get is a scrambled pic with coloured blocks. I have installed nimo 8 and xvid and removed angelpotion but still get the same. The file plays okay in media player and reaL one etc. Virtualdub will not open it as it says file exceed parent etc. Any ideas?![]()

If you get an error message when opening the video or audio like file unsupported or you get an empty (black) video preview window
or the video look wierd in the video preview window like green or purple or pink:
Be sure that you have installed the DivX Codecs (both DivX 3.11, 4 and 5) and also try with the Nimo Codec Pack. If that does not work try to change the codec reader settings in TMPGEnc under Option->Environmental settings->VFAPI plug-in and right click on the DirectShow Multimedia File Reader and increase the priority to 1 or 2 and try open the video. -
I've read somewhere that nimo build 8 is corrupt (correct me if I'm wrong moderators) try using build 7 and yes take take direct show up to 2 not -2 to correct purple shit
you know it's the anti-Midas touch when all you touch goes to shit..............
