I have just got a Panasonic DVD-LV50 and tried to play it using the out cable with video and left/right audio but the TVs (both of them in my house) shows only a black and white picture.
The player, which was imported from Hong Kong, is fine and plays color and I've tried adjusting the PAL?NTSC option -- but i think it may be a cable or dvd player problem... PLEASE HELP
MANY THANKS!!!

Hey mate,
At back of TV look for ntsc/pal button too, as well as on player, this will affect picture in that way

That's what a what it looks like with the wrong video format. Try switching the NTSC/PAL option (it sounds like like NTSC signal on a PAL TV).
