  1. I'm wondering if the quality of a mpg will be improve if I convert mpg to mpg2, will this improve the quality of the vid ?

    Can anyone tell me if theres a freeware simerler to Divfix but for mpg ?

    Quality will not improve - it is gone.

    MPEG Corrector in the Tools section to the left - might be what you're after (there's plenty of other tools there too)

    Any conversion from mpg (I assume you mean mpeg-1) to mpeg-2 will lose quality.

    Any time encoding is involved there will be some loss of quality.

    vcdgear has a mpeg fixer.
