  1. Damn im real new to this, but i wanna learn. i read all those how to's but still dont really understand. my problem is Ive DL a few movies off of Kazaa but i dont know how to put them on a CDR. I know there is a way but i cant do it. I have Nero and dvd decrypter, what else do i need???? Do the movies have to be AVi or MPEG or WHAT?????

  2. Get a program called Gspot and also get Virtualdub. Load your .avi's into either of these to find out what audio/video format they are in. This would be your starting point to doing any of this...which is identifying what type of file you are working with.

    Then, learn how to use Virtualdub, as it is a very powerful program and central to many things concerning this hobby. Also, get familiar with TMPGenc as this too is a very powerful program and it too is key in alot instances.

    Quick outline of steps would be:

    -Identify the source file you have

    -Determine what the target viewing device is(TV,PC)

    -Process video if necessary to go from source to target

    -burn to CD or DVD
