  1. okay this is driving me insane...everyone talks about doing the header trick to change the header so that you can play an svcd as a vcd in your dvd player. Okay..that's all fine i've done that part. But how the hell do you burn the new VCD. It's too big to fit on the disc or so nero says...but if nero encodes it it will fit...i dont get it. I have a 780mb vcd...which is technically an svcd...how can i get this on a cd and be able to watch it on my dvd player. I should have to cut it...cause that wouldnt' make sense...then the vcd header trick would be pointless...isn't the "trick" supposed to be an alternative to encoding it yourself and saves you much time...i dont see the point in saving time if you have to cut the vcd's up and make 4 discs out of what was 2 discs..
can someone please help me..i'm going crazy

the "trick" is used to play svcd on dvd players that have problems with them. 780 MB should fit on a 80 minute disc. what you should probably do is burn it as non-compliant.

  3. i know that it should fit...but for some reason i'm doing soemthing wrong.
How exactly do i burn it as non complient...and what are some good programs that i could do this with...nero is being a pain in the ass.

  4. Can anyone help me with this...what are some good program for burning vcd's...one that will allow me to do the header trick...and burn the svcd as a vcd with no problems...on a 700mb disc...

  5. Nero burns NON-compliant vcds. Did you UNCHECK the 'Burn Standard compliant CD' option?

  6. yes but when i do that...it measures by mb instead of minutes...so although the movie is like 45 minutes it's over 700 mb and won't burn...
    any other suggestions.
