    I can't burn anything, the drive dosnt even reconize a disc is in at all,it will burn cd-r but not dvd-r help!!

    you sure you used a dvd-r or -rw disk ?

    does it READ dvd -r disks?

    does it show as a dvd drive in your device manager?

    do you have a little more info to go on ?

    just send it to me as i don't think it will work ever ..

    No it does'nt read dvd-r discs at all, Im using crap unbranded media but surely it should at least see it shoudnt it??

    Yes it does reconize it in the device managers.

    the drive has bother seeing media!!! I know that as my mats has the same bother.... try a traxdata disk this worked fine!

    Sorted it, Did'nt like the media
    Changed media to smartdisk and it works just fine
