Hi,
is there a way to get information about a DVD, e.g. if it is a single or a double layer DVD ?
Regards, Jens.

Assuming you are using a PC...in Explorer right click on the VIDEO_TS folder and select Properties. If it shows more than 4,700,000,000 bytes, then it's definitely dual-layer.

Ok, thanks. But is there also a way to find out when (min/sec) the DVD-Player changes over to the other layer ?
Regards, Jens. -
This is very simple, turn over your DVD if it is of Gold color then it is a dual layer.
If its Silver then it is a single layer DVD
