OK I'm trying to convert my 2 disc divx ( dvd-rip ) movie ( it involves a young wizard and a chamber) into an Mpeg 2 file for writing to dvd-r , everything goes fine until the last 60-90 seconds of the first avi file when the sound just disappears , the sound is in the orginal avi and in the wav file extracted with vdub but its not there after encoding with tmpg. I thought at first it was due to changing the fps of the film to 25 , but even at the orginal fps it still loses the sound , another thought was that it was due to the file exceeding 2gb but after dropping the bit rate it still has no sound in the last minute or so and the file is now only 1.94gb.
Anyone please help me out on this as its driving me crazy..
