    I've purchased NEW Memorex CDRW's and when I put one in my PLEXTOR 16.10.40 and try to load ANY file, soon as I press the WRITE CD button I get THIS message:
    Could not perform fixation.
    Burn process failed @ 4X.

    I Also failed @ 2X.

    All replies are appreciated.

    What other software have you tried using to burn them?

    NONE..... I try not to install MORE software then is needed. Do U have a suggestion of 1 to try?
