i can't rip a dvd, osex crashes when i insert the dvd, extractor takes a lot
of time, and for some VOBs says "Key not found".
is there another software i can use?
there is another problem with osex, when i try to set markers on DVDSP
i can't enter timecode.
when use the slider to set chapters, dvdsp don let me build the disc (the item in the menu is disabled when i add markers)

Are you using the latest version of OSEx which is located here?: http://www.cse.buffalo.edu/~afaversa/test/
Are you running OSEx and then inserting the DVD? I always insert the DVD first, then let the Apple DVD player launch to authenticate the DVD (a necessary step), then quit the apple player and then launh OSEx.
An alternative OSX ripper is DVDBackup 1.3: http://195.134.134.27/downloads/macdvd/DVDBackup_13.bin
