I've got a 6 pack box of Maxell CD-R music80 for audio recording cd's that I bought some time ago before I even knew I could make vcd's..
It says "This disc is for audio recording only in cd-r recorders..."
Am I correct in assuming that I could burn a vcd to it?
In other words, is there any difference in these cd-r's and regular cd-rs?

I suspect that those disks are for the standalone auido CD-R recorders that were out a few years ago and are not compatible with a PC burner

I use the same ones to burn reagular info on and it works fine. Give it a try and should work. I only used because were I live overseas it is hard to get 80min CDR in so I tried it and it worked.
