hi ya
well i jsut started to get into vcd burning today. and i have gotten myself a couple of divx movies but they are to large to fit onto a disc for some reason. the disks say they can handle 700mb and the divx files are only 650mb.
so is vcds like audio they can noly take 80mins then? sorry i know you get asked this alot i bet.
so if my movie is 2 hours long how do i get them on a disk to watch on my dvd player? is there a program where i can cut the movie in half and put it on two disks?
thanks for your help and look forward to hearing what everyone has to say!
cheers,
wwmikey

Yes you can only get 80mins of VCD on an 80 minute disc, you will have to split it and put it on 2 discs. Use the merge and cut tools in TMPGEnc to do this.

File
Mpeg tools
Merge and cut
Add (select the mpeg you want to split)
Type: Select mpeg1 video cd
Select the file and click edit
Choose the start and end points of the video using the slider bar and {}
Select a new output filename
Click run.
Then repeat for the second half of the video -
