I have just recently downloaded an AVI File and I want to convert it to a mpeg so i can do a vcd.
But when I come to cut the movie to make it a suitable size, the dubbing is out by 10 seconds on the second half of the project ( the first part is perfect).
As per the help guide I did the following by. Making a wav file off the avi file, but i then come up with this error VBR audio stream detected, which is noted in the how to pages. So I have downloaded Virtualdub mp3 Freeze as directed and followed the instructions, Finding no freezes, and therefore I then made the wav file. I then use TMPGEnc as per instructions to cut the movie, but i keep having the same problem.
Can anybody help because im running out of hair to pull out.![]()

After you made the WAV, did you make sure you re-save the WAV as an
Uncompressed WAV file ? I usually do that with WinAMP.
When using an Uncompressed WAV file, you have less chances of having an
Audio sync error when encoding the AVI/WAV into MPG.Email me for faster replies!
