    Gotta A05, and every DVD i rip, i never see more then 2x?
    Are these drives locked at 2x rip speed?

  2. Hello, I have the same issue with my cendyne as well as was gogin to post the same question myslef. Mine is almost always locked at 2.0x sometimes climbing to 2.2x or dropping below 2.0x but always right near that number, t is frustrating when I dont have room for a secondary dvd-rom.

  3. Its normal, if you want more speed when ripping, you must have a fast DvD-Rom drive

    How fast of a DVD-ROM drive do i need? As i am getting 2x rip speed with a 12x DVD-ROM Drive (the speed at which the AO5 reads)

    You need to get a just a DVDROM to rip with if you want to rip fast. The Artec's are cheap and rip dvd-video really well. If u put a dvd of something in that is not video u will see it copy fast, just not a dvd-video disk.
