Can anybody please tell me how to rip .asf files
from the "Need for speed - Hot pursuit 2" soundtrack
    on the game CD.

I've tried ASF tools, CoolEdit, Soundforge etc. without
any success. Always get an error about missing header
    or corrupt header etc.
This must be due to some kind of copy protection.
Is there any way to crack it.

    Thanks in advance,
    Keith

  2. I can't be of much help, but I hope this helps out a little.
A while back(a few years) I wanted to extract the music from NFS Hot pursuit, so I know it's possible to extract it. You can't use any traditional asf tools though, I think Electronic arts has their own audio format or something. You need a special program designed to extract EA's music files. the only problem is I completely forgot the name of the program I used. I remember I had to ask the owner of one of the NFS sites how they did it. I think it was www.nfscheats.com You should try asking around in the NFS communities for the program.
