  1. i know their is somebody out there who can explain.

    if for example i had a m2v file at 5gb and a ac3 file at 500mb
    what setting in the bitrate part would you put in to get round about
    4.5 gb.

  2. Have you tried DVD2DVDR it takes all the guess work out of it.

  3. A DVDR only holds 4.37gb, i normally re-encode so that it comes to 4.3gb as this leaves a little space just to be on the safe side. So 4.3gb minus 500mb audio = video of 3.8gb. To calculate the bitrate you need to specify how long the movie is in minutes.
