  1. hey all. I have a small problem, hope you guys can help me out.
I downloaded a MPEG2 file for an SVCD movie. It plays perfectly fine with PowerDVD on my computer. However when I try to burn it to a CD with Nero, the audio and video sync are out of whack. The video playing rate seems a little faster than the audio. By half way through the movie, the audio is about 5 minutes behind. Anyway, before burning the file to the CD, Nero says that the MPEG2 file is not SVCD compliant, and it attempts to encode it with Nero's SVCD plug-in. After the encoding, the audio and video are out of sync. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

  2. Use TMPGenc, load the MPEG file and go to 'Source' under the 'Advanced' tab. Use the 'Audio Gap' box to correct the A/V.
