    hi im pretty new at this stuff and couldn't find any answers in the FAQs. Im trying render a movie I made with my minidv and its just a home video so im using the worst program ever, roxio movie creator. however when rendering and done i can see a perfect movie ready to be burnt for a dvd, but all sound is gone and all i hear is a noise,

    does anyone know what im doing wrong?

    Try using Tmpgenc for conversion to DVD compliant mpeg, then choose one of the many DVD authoring programs to author and burn.

    Reasons for this?, you will get much higher quality than with Roxio, better support through these forums and learn a great deal about the DVD creation process too.
